ABOUTJason Son better known by his stage name JFortune. He is an Asian rapper born and raised in Flushing, New York. Debuting his 2018 mixtape ‘Fortune Over Fame” with original singles such as “Jungle” & “Stick Up”. JFortune was raised in the streets and dropped out of school when he was kicked out, during his final year of junior high school in the 9th grade. He started writing rhymes at the age of 14 and was heavily influenced by mostly New York artists such as Nas, Mobb Deep, DMX, 50 cent and Biggie. At the age of 15 JFortune was in and out of jail for minor offenses. At the age of 17 he was indicted for drug and gun charges, where he served a 2-6 year sentence in prison. After going down such a dark road he came out with a goal to be the greatest Asian rapper of all time.
