ABOUTSimon Kushnir entered the jewellery world at a young age, working in the renowned Odessa Jewellery Workshop, under master Russian craftsmen. He was to learn the art of jewellery creation in the one region of Russia that kept the Faberge tradition alive.Schooled in the use of enamelling, filigree work and different coloured golds, as well as the concepts of jewellery design, Simon soon created a name for himself. Moving to Italy to study the art and craft of Italian goldsmithing, he developed an eye for quality.Settling in Melbourne, Simon found work as a specialised repair jeweller. To this day, his services are often sought for more intricate works. He also founded Simon Prestige Jewellery Pty Ltd and began designing his own pieces.
